What is Ap Parts Filter

Ap Parts Filter is a flatform for Prestashop used to support the search for products. The keyword search is not the text input from the keyboard which are the fields are arranged in the form of the select box. Your customers can easily search for suitable products with just a few clicks. This fields are defined by the user and assigned to products of Prestashop. Ap Parts Filter support maximum 3 fields corresponding to 3 level: level 1, level 2, level 2 and level 4

Download and Install

Download

Currently, the modules are only included in the pretashop theme that support the module by default. So you have to download the theme package then the modules will be there for you to use.

Install

Go to your Back office Modules and Services > Modules and Services

Upload module package installed

You can install the module as any other pretashop module. If you are new to prestashop, you can check How To Install Prestashop Module Video Tutorial

After install the module, The label outside of Front End your site receive default values that we set up earlier. But It not suitable to the content of your site. Do not worry, you can change them easily. To do this go to configuration of module. Go to your Back office Modules and Services > Modules and Services > Ap Parts Filter

Set the value of search

To set value of search, first goto Configuration management of module. Then you must enter value alternate for level 1 then level 2 then level 3 and level 4 final

Note: "Allow Search From" is the level required to enter to search. Example: You choose level 2 you must enter minimum level 1 and level 2 to search

Step 1: Level 1

First you must enter data search for level 1. Goto Configuration management of module choose Level 1 Management then choose icon .

Step 2: Level 2

After entered data search for level 1. We can enter data search for level 2. Goto Configuration management of module choose Level 2 Management. Level 2 Management similar as Level 1 Management.

Step 3: Level 3

After entered data search for level 1 and level 2. We can enter data search for level 3. Goto Configuration management of module choose Level 3 Management. Level 3 Management similar as Level 1 Management and Level 2 Management.

Step 4: Level 4

After entered data search for level 1, level 2 and level 3. We can enter data search for level 4. Goto Configuration management of module choose Level 4 Management. Level 4 Management similar as Level 1 Management, Level 2 Management and Level 2 Management.

Assigning values of product

Final, We assigning values of product to complete enter the data for Ap Parts Filter. Goto product in your Back office Catalog > Products

Then, choose Edit product that you want to configuration data. Choose tab Ap parts filter searching cars in product management

Then click Add New to setting new value for product

Final, you enter value alternate for level 1 > level 2 > level 3 then click Save or Save and stay to complete assigning values of product
